How to Create Sales funnels to Manage Leads on WhatsApp Web?

Millions of businesses across the world use WhatsApp to manage their sales and lead management. But WhatsApp web is an endless list of chats. Users cannot create funnels like Sales CRMs. For many businesses using WhatsApp Web for work, Sales CRMs are not needed for their use case and are expensive to buy. 

Weka is a Chrome extension, which comes as a layer on top of your WhatsApp Web. With Weka, you can create workflows like sales funnel on top of WhatsApp web. You can segregate your WhatsApp chats into different stages of the Sales funnel. The process is very simple and intuitive. Any user can create a Sales funnel on top of WhatsApp Web in less than five minutes. 

Step 1: Create sales funnel stages as custom tabs in Weka.

For example, if your Sales funnel is Leads -> Interested -> Demo -> Paid. Create these four stages of the sales funnel as four custom tabs on Weka.

To create a custom tab on Weka. Use the “+” in the top bar to create a custom tab. Repeat the same for all other tabs.

Step 2: Adding leads (WhatsApp chats) to the “Leads” custom tab. You can do that in two methods. 

Method 1: Tag your existing WhatsApp chats. Go to the +Add chats tab in the bottom bar. Go to existing chats select the chats you would like to add to the leads tab and save to the tab.

Method 2: You can import contacts to WhatsApp via CSV file. The numbers in the CSV file will be created as WhatsApp chats in the Lead tab. Please download the sample CSV file to understand the format and please make sure the header row given in the sample CSV file is included in your file.

Step 3: Now we need to move the leads to the next stages of the Sales funnel depending on the progress. Select any chat in the Lead tab and use the “sort chat to tabs” button to move it to a different tab in your funnel.

Now unselect the Leads check box and select the interested check box. Lead is now moved from the Leads tab to the Interested tab. If you observed the the count of the Leads tab was reduced from 15 to 14 and the count of Interested increased from 0 to 1.

In this way, you can keep moving the leads across the funnel you created. You can build similar funnels for other departments in the company such as customer service, Operations, and business development.
